The Steepwater Band at the Mauch Chunk Opera House
We're celebrating 12 years of great live music with the 2-4-1 price of $10 until 4/11 to see this remarkable band. Best seen live, they excel at rock ‘n’ roll in the smoldering style of the Black Crowes, early Allman Brothers, or the Exile-era Rolling Stones. Free Range Folk’s Back to the Farm Jubilee

Jeff Daniels at the Mauch Chunk Opera House
Daniels has proven that he is not an actor who sings, but an accomplished singer/songwriter. The guy can finger-pick a nimble lead on guitar. He can growl a blues vocal or croon a gentle ballad. He writes songs that are funny, poignant, melodic and catchy. Jeff will be joined by the Ben Daniels Band, a five-piece ensemble put together by his talented son. Tickets and info here.

A Night Out - Dixieland Style, by the Bach & Handel Chorale
This special concert, features the combined efforts of both the Bach & Handel Chorale and the Perseverance Jazz Band. Jim Thorpe Birthday Celebration
This event honors Jim Thorpe, one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century, and our town's namesake. The 16th Annual Jim Thorpe Birthday Celebration will be held on Saturday, May 19th and Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at Josiah White Park in Jim Thorpe. 40 Story Radio Tower, with special guest Spottiswoode and His Enemies
For the past seventeen years, Spottiswoode & His Enemies have been a constantly self-reinventing New York institution hosting residencies at rock, folk, lounge and punk venues across the city.
