The Jim Thorpe Chamber of Commerce sponsors its 12th annual Jim Thorpe Birthday Weekend on Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th. This event is in honor of James Francis Thorpe, a Native American, the
greatest athlete of the 20th century, and our town's namesake.
