JIM THORPE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Dear Vendor,
You are cordially invited to participate in the annual Jim Thorpe Birthday Celebration Weekend sponsored by the Jim Thorpe Chamber of Commerce. This year's festival will be held Saturday, May 17th and Sunday, May 18th, 2008, from 11a.m. to 5p.m. in the Historic District of Jim Thorpe. This is a small but growing festival with many featured attractions.
Spaces are available for crafters, non-profit organizations and food vendors. These spaces are limited and will be filled on a "first come, first served" basis. Spaces will be located in the parking area surrounding the station and in the Asa Packer Park, located in front of the railroad station. No electricity, tables or chairs are provided and each space is approximately 10ft by 10ft and tents are highly recommended.
You are required to keep your space clean and presentable during the festival, as well as clearing your area before leaving. Food vendors must bring two trash receptacles and maintain them during the course of the weekend.
The Borough of Jim Thorpe has a Vendor's Ordinance that requires all vendors to obtain a permit. The fee is $30.00 per day - and the permit must be obtained before you will be allowed to sell your items.
