OLD JAIL MUSEUM -website-
Wander the Old Jail's cold hallways, past Cell 17 with its mysterious handprint on the wall, under the gallows on which seven of the accused Molly Maguires were put to death, and down into the eerie dungeon.And don't forget to check out our new book, "Ghosts of the Molly Maguires?", a collection of visitors' first-hand accounts of strange happenings in the Old Jail.

ASA PACKER MANSION -website-
This National Historic Landmark was the home of philanthropist and railroad magnate Asa Packer, built in 1859-1861 at a cost of $14,000. This magnificent home was built over a cast iron frame and consists of 3 stories topped by a red-ribbed tin roof and a central cupola. It contains 18 rooms full of original 19th-century furnishings. Open weekends in April, May, November & the first 2 weekends in December. Open every day from Memorial Day to October 31st.

Costumed GhostGuides share intriguing tales of reported ghoulish encounters and stories of historic properties and people along Broadway. Family-friendly walk weekend evenings (Ghost season: Fri, Sept 10 - Sat, Dec 11) from the Inn at Jim Thorpe, 24 Broadway. Outdoors - covers a mile roundtrip to the Old Jail Museum in about an hour. Walk-ins welcome if space is available - reservations strongly recommended. Call 570-325-2346. Tickets available 15 minutes before each walk; adults: $10, children 7 - 12: $5.
