ROTARY CLUB GHOSTWALKS
Every Friday at 8 pm and Saturday at 7 and 8:30 pm in the Fall, families can take part in the Rotary Ghost Walk of Jim Thorpe. The experience features a one-mile walking tour around Jim Thorpe’s historic district guided by a costumed storyteller. The tour leaves from the lobby of The Inn at Jim Thorpe. Special private tours for groups of 10 or more might possibly be arranged at other times. Call for reservations.

ST. MARKS CHURCH
The first Episcopal Lay Worship services were held in Mauch Chunk in 1829 by William H. Sayre, a devoted churchman. Services were held by visiting clergy at various times until 1835. On May 17, 1835 a group of concerned churchmen organized the parish under the name of St. Mark's Church.

ASA PACKER MANSION -website-
This National Historic Landmark was the home of philanthropist and railroad magnate Asa Packer, built in 1861-3 at a cost of $14,000. This magnificent home was built over a cast iron frame and consists of 3 stories topped by a red-ribbed tin roof and a central cupola. It contains 18 rooms full of original 19th-century furnishings, and is available for tours on weekends from April to December, and everyday from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
