The Carbon County Lion/Lioness Fair Association, Inc. was created in January 1999. The Association is comprised of the Bowmanstown/Parryville Lions, Franklin Township Lions, Lehighton Lions, Lehighton Lioness Lions, Mahoning Lions, Palmerton Lions, West Penn Lions and the Jim Thorpe Lioness Clubs. We wanted to create a Fair that would showcase the Carbon County 4-H and provide those kids with the recognition and positive reinforcement that they so greatly deserve.

Every Friday at 8 pm and Saturday at 7 and 8:30 pm during the Fall, families can take part in the Rotary Ghost Walk of Jim Thorpe. The experience features a one-mile walking tour around Jim Thorpe’s historic district guided by a costumed storyteller. The tour leaves from the lobby of The Inn at Jim Thorpe. Special private tours for groups of 10 or more might possibly be arranged at other times. Call for reservations.
