What are the dates of the Festival?
First three weekends in October. October 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 2019
What are the times of the Festival?
The official times of the Festival are 10:00am-6:00pm.
Where can I park?
• Metered Parking throughout the Historic District (very limited availability - $1/hour)
• Mauch Chunk Lake Park (625 Lentz Trail Jim Thorpe, PA) has general admission parking for $15/car or reserved VIP Parking for $20 and includes a FREE shuttle to the Festival..
What is there to do during the Festival?
In Josiah White Park (at the train station), there will be a nice selection of artisans and crafters (FREE to browse)
Eat unique foods from numerous vendors in Josiah White Park as well as over a dozen eateries throughout town
Take a train ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. Fees apply.
Wine and mead tastings at several wineries in town. Fees may apply.
Shop in over 50 one-of-a-kind specialty stores, boutiques and galleries in our Historic District
Be entertained by talented musicians and dancers on five stages (FREE)
- Follow along with a guide and take a ghost walk through town or at the Old Jail. Fees apply.
Vote on your favorite Scarecrow and be entered to win a prize (FREE)
Be amazed at the most beautiful scenery (FREE)
Visit museums and take tours of the Old Jail, Asa Packer Mansion, Mauch Chunk Museum and St. Mark's Church. Fees apply.
Enjoy horse and carriage rides through the Historic District. Crystal View Carriage will be having round trip rides from near the train station. Fees apply.
Are dogs allowed?
AT THE FESTIVAL: Absolutely! Many shops and even some restaurants in town are dog friendly.
